Welcome to the SWITCH Training Desk!
The SWITCH project facilitates the establishment of Learning Alliances in cities world-wide in order to increase the impact and scaling-up of research on Integrated Urban Water Management (IUWM).
The SWITCH Training Desk, developed and managed by the ICLEI International Training Centre, is an information and documentation service for all those interested in IUWM training activities, materials, and experts of the SWITCH project partnership. It also includes some selected information on events and materials from outside SWITCH.
You can consult the Desk, e.g., if you would like to find out more about
- workshops and on-line courses open for registration;
- past workshops and the training materials used for them;
- SWITCH partners who develop and deliver training and their areas of specialisation.
The Desk is also for inquiries on additional training events on urban water management directly tailored to your specific needs!
Integrated Urban Water Management in the City of the Future (Demo)
The SWITCH project (Feb. 2006 to Jan. 2011)
SWITCH aims at developing sustainable urban water systems through a combination of research, technological development, demonstration activities and training within a Learning Alliance framework.
Learning Alliances are stakeholder platforms designed to break down barriers to information sharing, thus speeding up the process of uptake and innovation.
SWITCH is part-financed by Directorate-General Research of the European Commission.
